Flat steel application and process flow
Flat steel refers to steel with a width of 12-300mm, a thickness of 4-60mm, a rectangular section and a slightly blunt edge. Flat steel can be finished steel, can also be used as a blank for pipe welding and thin slab for rolling sheet.
Main applications:
As a finished material, flat steel can be used to make hoop iron, tools and mechanical parts, and used as building frame structural parts and escalators.
Process flow:
The working principle of the flat steel finishing machine is to pre-calibrate the thickness direction of the cold flat steel wool with two sets of staggered leveling wheels. The width direction is squeezed by a pair of relatively arranged finishing wheels, so that the width is compressed to reach the desired parameters, and the compression amount is adjustable. Its width is straightened with 5 staggered straightening wheels. The system is mainly composed of control box, finishing roll, pre-leveling unit, finishing unit and straightening unit. Its production process can be summarized as: pre-leveling → finishing → straightening → after leveling. Flat steel/A/B steel 12-300mm wide, 4-60mm thick, rectangular section with slightly pure edge. Flat steel is divided into two kinds according to its shape: flat spring flat steel and single double groove spring flat steel. Hot rolled spring flat steel is mainly used in the manufacture of automobile, tractor, railway transport and other machinery leaf spring.
